What if your future lasted as long as yesterday and yesterday lasted an infinity?

What if you could visit yesterday, tomorrow; and plan the past to suit the goals you set now for the future?
What if time wasn't so picky? I mean, it seems to slip right past us in the NOW...
We have to look to the future or the past to "envision" this monster that I've created and called time.
Change: it's meant to be rearranged.
What if your days lasted just as long as you wanted? or just as short as you wanted?
Well I hate to tell you, but that is exactly true...
The day is what YOU make it...
The day is your construction paper cut out, you decide when to stop creating.
You are an artist and the days behind you are the canvasses of interpretation.
What if? Everyday you could paint yourself to be the person you want?
Kind, gentle, giving, loyal?
If you started today, blowing the dust off of your metaphorical paint brushes and art pencils
you could begin to draw yourself today how you wish to see yourself in the future
because the past is just how you perceived your options and potential now.
So if you find your days are going by too quickly add something to your paintings that helps you calm down and take some time for yourself and if you find your days are going too slowly, you could always draw something in your paintings that takes your mind away from the time and focused on something you enjoy that takes your mind away from the slower thought patterns of boredom.
Don't let time pass you by, take your time and get to know it intimately.
